A helmet from the collection was found in 2014 in Stalingrad in the Spartanovka area, on the approaches to the Tractor Plant where the Mokraya Mechetka River flows. The helmet was found in a dump on the cliff of a ravine at a depth of 2.5 meters. Heavy fighting took place in this place in September 1942
