The helmet was found in Stalingrad in the place of Orlovka, on the positions of the grenadiers of the 16th panzer division. The helmet was found in a trench next to the machine gun cell, as the entire floor was strewn with MG34 shells. Presumably, the firing point was covered with mortar fire, as tails from Soviet 82 mm mines were found. The helmet was found in 2008
