German helmet M40 / from Stalingrad

Product description

The helmet was found in Stalingrad, in the Soviet region of Volgograd, behind the Volga University. Very heavy helmet, in several front-line repaints. Shrapnel damage is visible on the visor. Together with this helmet, a helmet from a motorcycle battalion of the 24th Panzer Division was found. Apparently all three soldiers were from the same unit.
