Strong and heavy Wehrmacht helmet M40 was found in Stalingrad in the place of Marinovka, according to the events of the December battles of 1942. Marinovka was the southern pocket for the 6th army, after prolonged bloody battles, the Soviet army squeezed the 6th army into Orlovka (northern pocket of the 6th army), where the 6th army ended its existence in the Battle of Stalingrad.
