Helmet was found in Demyansk at the Tetenkopf positions. The helmet was found along with the soldier. The remains of the soldier were transferred to the Bundeswehr service in the Northwestern District of Russia for burial. In the inside of the helmet, hair is visible on the hoop. The helmet is rare in that it is m 40 DD
