German helmet M40 / from Stalingrad
Product description
German helmet M40 with battle hole was found during excavations at Balka Kalmizkiy, Stalingrad region (airfield Gumrak area). The helmet was found on the slope of a ravine under a German dugout. Details from German uniforms were also found in the vicinity, as well as dogtags 9.J.R.576. 200 meters from this place was the headquarters of the command of the 305th Infantry Division of Wehrmacht. Therefore, most likely this helmet belonged to a soldier of this division.
