This helmet was originally a Waffen SS helmet, as the SS runes can be seen under the decal. Ordnungspolizei helmet M35 DD Q66 was found near village Pomiri (Kursk battle) at 2020. Two helmets were found side by side, all with bullet damage to the top of the helmet.
