Soviet helmet SSh40 was found in the Leningrad region, in the place of Sinyavino. The dome of the helmet is pierced by a 75mm German projectile, from the Pak40. It can be seen that the edges of the hole are twisted from the fact that the projectile was spinning when it passed through the helmet. Very fierce battles took place in Sinyavino from 1941-1943.
