The helmet was found in Stalingrad in the 1960s, and for a long time until 1993 was in the museum of the city of Kalach on the Don! Then he got into a private collection. Helmet size Q64. The name of the soldier Ob.Gefr is written on the liner. Winkelmann, and field post 20794. (Mobilmachung-1.1.1940) Stab Pionier-Bataillon 171. This is 71 infantry division. The soldier’s data is being established, a request has been made to the Bundeswehr, and a response should be received soon. The helmet apparently has a camouflage color.
