Wehrmacht helmet M40 / from Leningrad

Heer helmet M40 was found near Leningrad, in the place of Sinyavsky heights. M40 helmet has a commander’s tactical mark, in the form of a white strip on the back of the head. It was found in a trench, on the line of defense of the Germans. Helmet ET66, very heavy, was found without a liner, as it was used in winter battles, and put on a hat. Unfortunately, the chin strap was not preserved.
