Helmet Found near Stalingrad in the bend of the Don between the mouth of the river Chir and Station area “Veshenskaya” (mainly along the river Chir) According to the December battles of 1942, Operation Winter Storm. The helmet belonged to a soldier from 17 army corps. The helmet was in the dugout, at a depth of almost 4 meters.
