WWII Wehrmacht helmet M35 was found in Stalingrad (now city of Volgograd,), in the Kirovsky district in a place called Bald Mountain. The helmets were dropped into one hole. This happened when after the war the battlefields were cleaned, everyone was thrown into the pit and buried. About 30 helmets were found in the pit.
