This German helmet was found during diggings at Stalingrad region near village Novoalekseevka. Near this village in November-December 1942, the most combat-ready German forces gathered to break out of the encirclement. In a field near the place where the helmet was found, spare parts from the Opel Blitz truck were found. More precise coordinates of de helmet were found on the map below. Helmet size – 66
