The steel breastplate of a soldier of the Red Army SN 42 (SN-2) was found during excavations in the North of Stalingrad, near the river Mokraya Mechetka. This steel breastplate and Soviet helmet SSH40 was found in the trenches on the Bank of the river. The helmet had 2 bullet hits, But the steel breastplate does not have them.
