Steel helmet M42 from Stalingrad

The helmet was found under a floorboard in the old ruined wooden house in a suburb of the city of Stalingrad (now Volgograd). Most likely the helmet was lying next to the stove, as the helmet has a burnt in some places, and beside the helmet there were embers and ash. Also, the leather liner you can see the initials of the owner of the helmet.
