Winter camo helmet (with thick layer of white paint) was found in Gorodishche district of Stalingrad. Gorodishche is a place very close to the city itself, where soldiers of the encircled 6th army of the Vremkhat fought in the last days of January. The map shows the approximate location where the helmet was found. You can see from the satellite images that the holes from the dugouts are still clearly visible. Helmet size – 62
